- National Livestock Mission
Under this scheme, a loan of up to ₹50 lakh can be availed for goat rearing.
A subsidy of 30% to 50% is given on the loan.
The interest rate is 4% to 7% per annum.

- Kisan Credit Card Scheme+
Under this scheme, a loan of up to ₹3 lakh is available for goat rearing
The interest rate is same on three loans
3% discount is available on timely payment

- Mudra Loan Scheme
Under this scheme, a loan of up to ₹14 lakh is available for goat rearing. It is available in three categories namely Kisan and Tarun

NABARD Goat Farming Scheme
In this scheme, loan up to ₹25 lakh is available
Up to 40% subsidy is given on the loan.
The interest rate is 9% to 12% per annum
The loan has to be repaid in 7 years.
Eligibility for Goat Farming Loan
The following conditions / eligibility have been kept for taking goat farming loan –
The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 60 years.
You should have a place for goat rearing (own or rented).
You should have necessary documents like Aadhar card, PAN card
You should have a bank account.
You should not have any bank loan outstanding.
You should have basic knowledge of goat rearing.
